Q: Tell us more about 24Notion
A: 24Notion is not your average agency at all. We break all rules! It is such a unique yet out of the box thinker style; it’s actually quite simple; I’ve seen so many small/large businesses that need help from their overall business goals/objectives. From concept to implementation- often times, businesses made the mistake of segregating their overall business sector, goals and needs. Social media, digital, word of mouth, experiential marketing are tactical elements; don’t get caught up in the distribution platform just yet- rather than look into the 360 degrees holistic approach of your challenge and business objectives. It starts with the big idea then it will progress to the channel of distribution and last but not least, how do you monopolize and maintain that market. This is where we come in as a business partner- We work closely with our clients from the creation of the business objectives/challenges; where we will sit and brainstorm, produce the work, implement the work and then bring that product to the market so the audience will get to experience them. Results are one of our key differentiator! We want our partner gets the results they are looking for. This is one of our key strength of their accomplishment
We are coming from an integrated communications approach. We are blurring the line of advertising, marketing and Public relations. The old traditional PR, marketing, advertising methodology is not working anymore. The market is way too saturated; everyone is bombarded with advertising, media, publications, promo, TV etc…. One size doesn’t fit all. Therefore, it is important to be unique in the space of saturated market. We are able to concept, execute and get the results at the same time- so its definitely our key strength differentiator
Q: How do your expertise/ background help you to become successful in this industry? How do you maintain that balance? Is there any secret to it?
A: Sky’s the limit- nothing is big or small for us; we are working with startup company, individual and as well as the large corporation. It’s not an easy task to create, launch and maintain your own business; it takes patience, persistence, proactiveness, endurance and lots of prayer; I have to give glory to GOD, first and foremost. Without him, I wouldn’t be here. Be positive and be open to possibilities; don’t sell yourself short- Never give up!
Q: You are also passionate about Fashion and technology; how would they fit into your vision?
A: I’ve always love fashion and all things technology! I guess I could call myself a geeky girl! Yes, I admit- I love technology; North America is way behind on technology- this is one thing that we are lacking of. Not to mention with anything digital. The web comparison between the APAC vs. USA- there is huge gap there to fill. I love fashion- its been my long lost passion since a young age. So, when I’ve started 24Notion; it’s a no brainer that we have to help the emerging fashion designers out there to become business savvy and know how to market themselves. I think there are huge opportunity of bridging fashion and technology. Who doesn’t love fashion and tech?
Q: Tell us more about your community involvement? You are sitting on the marketing committee of Oregon Entrepreneurs Network as well as part of the corporate relations committee for Oregon Humane Society; and Global Girls in tech MD. Tell us more
A: One of our mission and business model is giving back to the global communities; this is one of my passion in the CSR world; when I was working in the corporate world; they’ve lacked so much in Corporate Social Responsibility. This is why I feel the need to start lead by example; if we could take a moment to start this movement, and then hopefully the others will follow….Also, we are so open for partnerships. So, drop me an email if interested ivo@24notion.tv
Q: What else are you doing at the moment? Any food for thoughts for the youngsters?
A: Besides enjoying my time with family;girls I’ve taught 1-2 class most recently at Art Institute Portland. I’ve taught advanced visual merchandising and fashion marketing. Try to learn and embrace something new everyday. I’ve worked with so many young professional- they should have the mentality of learning something rather than whats in it for me? I think that’s the shift in today’s young graduate. They are not willing to bend over the rules! They are constantly asking whats in it for me. Hey, if you are open to the possibilities- the pay offs are big at the end of the day. So, be open! Try everything and Do it with all of your strength! Give it all!
Q: Where do Girls in Tech mixed with your passion?
Girls in tech is an amazing non-profit organization with goals to encourage/empower women all ages. Girls in Tech is a social network enterprise focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of like-minded, professional, intelligent and influential women in technology. As young women with the capacity to inspire, we made it our personal desire and passion to create and sustain an organization that focuses on the collaboration, promotion, growth and success of women in the technology sector.
Our Girls in Tech Portland Chapter is growing tremendously- Be sure to join us on GITPDX Facegroup page or drop me an email if you would like to be a guest speaker or simply get involved with our organization: ivo@girlsintech.net
