On June 2nd, 24Notion will extend a helping hand to a worthy student and participant of the Art Institute of Portland’s 14th Annual Fashion Show with a $10,000 scholarship! This much anticipated event not only displays the variety of disciplines of Ai’s motivated students but it is also the largest fundraiser for the Creative Arts Scholarship fund.
24Notion is no stranger to giving back — just this year we were ranked as 23rd in the Portland Business Journal’s most philanthropic companies. And ask Bryce Black, last year’s recipient of 24Notion’s Scholarship fund, who knows firsthand of 24Notion’s dedication and generosity towards inspiring young talent. Black not only proved his talent to the company but also to the nation as he was a strong contestant in Project Runway season 9. We will join Black once again at Ai’s Fashion Show as he will help us announce onstage this year’s new scholarship recipient! Kevin Yates, a junior Graphic Design student at the Art Institute is very appreciative of 24Notion’s presence as a scholarship sponsor. Yates comments, “Last year’s event, Fit2print, was so inspiring from the student’s work to the support of the sponsors and this year is going to be bigger and better. The whole campus is crawling with excitement and there are posters everywhere – the opportunity is huge”.
The show will include a VIP red carpet event with a cocktail reception, interior design fashion installations, and a showcase of Senior Collections through the fashion show itself and the silent auction beforehand. The event will be held at Pure Space — a clean, simple location that will allow the students’ creativity to pop – and is on Saturday June 2nd, with a Silent Auction at 6 pm and a Fashion Show at 8 pm.
